AIP:Aero is a free search and index service for Aeronautical Information Publications (AIP), approach charts and airport data across Europe.

Our service

AIP:Aero lets you find aerodromes by name or ICAO code and takes you directly to the official AIP publication of the respective country. In addition, our airport pages embed supplementary information such as weather reports (METAR/TAF), a 5-day meteogram, webcams, current NOTAMs, aerodrome data (runways, frequencies, elevation, opening hours), fuel prices and landing fees, on-field restaurants, rental cars and aviation museums at the aerodrome, maps and contact details; pages can be saved for offline use, and we can e-mail a free route briefing as a PDF. We also offer a free live VFR moving map showing your GPS position, the terrain and airspace ahead, proactive airspace and terrain cautions, a glide-range ring, an animated wind-flow overlay and a live aircraft-traffic overlay - all advisory and for situational awareness only, never a substitute for certified navigation equipment or the official pre-flight briefing. The service is provided free of charge and without registration.
